Don't Cross That Line

We took a family trip to Disneyland

It wasn’t cheap, it set me back ten grand

But it turned out quite different than I planned

Spent all our time

Standing in lines

It gets quite warm outside in Anaheim

He should have never gone in summertime

Found out how high the temperature can climb

One hundred nine

While he’s in line

My drivers license recently expired

The lady at the DOL looked tired 

“How does this work?” I patiently inquired 

“Just read the sign”

“And get in line”

“It isn’t fair”, is always what I’ve said,

when someone butts, in line to get ahead

I get quite mad and then my face turns crimson red

But I just whine,

and stay in line

While they all sang, I merely played along

I’d like to sing too, but my voice isn’t strong

We must decline
