It's Just Coincidental

An old man, turned ninety-nine

He’s got a back ache, but otherwise fine

He’s never used drugs, or drank wine

He lives by a health code, its source is divine 

It’s just coincidental, don’t you think?

Is it dumb luck, or happenstance?

Is it by design, or just by chance?

It might seem like, incidental circumstance

To me that just doesn’t figure

Mr. Play-It-Safe, was afraid to fly

After a super long prayer, he kissed his wife good-bye-yai

They hit a massive hurricane, while in mid-flight

The plane lost its wing, but, they landed alright

It was just coincidental, don’t you think?

Is it dumb luck, or happenstance?

Is it by design, or just by chance?

It might seem like, incidental circumstance

To me that just doesn’t figure

Well people have a funny way, of rationalizing and they think everything turns out the way it does by itself 

And yet people often say, that they’re being punished when they think everything's gone wrong and everything blows up in their fa-ace

A traffic jam, but you don’t end up late

Or it’s a likely fail, that turns out great

It's 10,000 angels watching over your life

It's meeting the man of your dreams and then knowing you’ll be his wife, (Hmm)

It’s just coincidental, don’t you think?

A little too coincidental. Nod, nod, wink, wink

And yeah, people have a funny way, of changing their views

And people have a funny, funny way, of starting to doubt, starting to doubt
