Mom & Dad Gently Weep

I live with my folks in their home, in the basement

While Mom and Dad gently weep.

I'm 40 years old, I’m a slob, I don't pay rent. 

While Mom and Dad gently weep.

I don't know why I should do laundry

can't even fold... my own clothes.

I don't know how to put away dishes

Or even wipe my own nose.

My room is unkempt ‘cause I don’t do housekeeping, 

While Mom and Dad gently weep

I can’t do my chores ‘cause I’m too busy sleeping.

While Mom and Dad gently weep.

I don't know why, they let me stay here.

They deserve better than this. 

I don’t know why, they’re always crying.

Is it ‘cause I’m such a mess?

I’ve no time to bathe because I’m on-line gaming, 

While Mom and Dad gently weep.

I don't have a job, so I guess I'll be staying.
